If you’re like most people, Instagram is your go-to social media platform for photos and videos of your everyday life. But if you want to share more than just snapshots and videos, you need to create multiple accounts on the app. This way, you can have different Instagram handles for different purposes. For example, if you’re a musician, you might have a “musician” account with photos and videos of your music performances. If you’re a fashionista, you might have an “fashionista” account with photos and videos of your latest outfits. And so on. The best part is that each account can have its own set of permissions and restrictions so that only the people who are authorized to view those materials can see them. To create a new account on Instagram, open the app and sign in with your username and password. Then click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen and select “Create New Account.” On the next screen, enter a name for your new account (you can use any name that’s available to you on Instagram) and select “I am an individual.” In the next step, select “Permissions” from the drop-down list to set up how your new account will be used. You’ll need to agree to allow other people access to your content (this is optional but recommended), set up limits on how often content will be shared (you’ll want at least one per day), and agree to receive push notifications when new content is added to your account. Click OK to finish setting up your new account. Now that you’ve created a new Instagram account, it’s time to start sharing! To share content from your oldaccount on this new one, open the app and sign in with that username or password again. Click on one of the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen and select “Share Content.” In this case, we’ll just share our latest outfit from our

It’s increasingly common to have multiple Instagram accounts. You might have one for a pet, a specific hobby, or your business. Whatever the reason, we’ll show you how to use them all in the Instagram app.

This wasn’t always the case, but Instagram allows you to add multiple accounts to the mobile app. You don’t have to constantly sign in and out, and you can get notifications from all the accounts. It’s easy to use and simple to set up.

First, open the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android device. Tap the profile icon in the bottom right.

Next, tap the drop-down arrow next to your username in the top left.

A pop-up will slide up from the bottom with the option to “Try a New Account” or “Add Account.” Select the one that applies to you. “Try a New Account” is just a shortcut to creating a new account.

After you sign in with your credentials or create a new account, you’ll notice that the profile icon in the bottom right now shows your profile photo. This is to indicate which account you’re using. A red dot means one of your other accounts has notifications.

To switch accounts, go to your profile page and tap your username in the top left again. A pop-up will appear and you can select the account you want to use.

That’s all there is to it! Simply tap your username on your profile to easily switch between accounts whenever you want. From now on, notifications will include the username of the associated account so you know where they’re coming from.
